Try and make the effort to get along to a non-league game, you may find it helps you reconnect. Unsullied by big money, corrupt owners, dubious regimes, VAR, everything that makes modern football rubbish. I’ve been to lots of non-league football this season and it’s been great. Entertaining games, players giving it their all after a day at work, cheap entry, great pies: everything that makes going to football fun (or should do!).
