Thought Swann spoke very well. He reaffirmed the club will be left on a sound footing financially. The league position is another point ,that is different to the financial position. He is leaving because the majority want him to go. His promise to do this ,the money the club has given to charities over the years show he has tried and what sort of man he is, but unfortunately he has failed on the pitch.If we had hit the Championship ( rather than Bolton!!) things could have been different,but we didn’t and his popularity was impacted by the fall down the leagues ,unfortunately.
