Yes, totally agree with all of the above tributes.
Among many great players from our halcyon days, Barrie Thomas, Noddy and Ken Jones were at the top as far as I was concerned. You only had to see Noddy bearing down on some breakaway attacker to know that unless he passed it quickly, then the attack was over and Noddy was going to dump the attacking forward off the field of play.
