It’s OK organising a protest on the pitch but the person we would be protesting against will not be there as Swann is aware he is very disliked
I believe the Oldham owner wasn’t at their game at the weekend. I believe a benefit of it would be to bring the plight to a media spotlight, so it wouldn’t matter if the owner is there or not for this.
That said, I am wary of risking the club facing consequences from the authorities and it isn’t a guaranteed success in its mission to put pressure on Swann. We have a supposed consortium interested and I am not sure if this action would help that along in any way. If Swann was not yet selling this argument of putting pressure on would have more weight.
That said, Swann is not trustworthy, as past promises have not come to fruition, and we know next to nothing about the supposed takeover, so I can’t blame fans for getting impatient on this.
