I can only remember the one season we nearly got relegated from the football league under Laws. Towards the end Wharton returned as chairman, reappointed laws and we stayed up. in the summer we signed Mussy, Crosby and Baraclough and that launched the march up the leagues.
Compare that with the professional running the club, nearly get relegated, lets get rid of our best players, sign rubbish players not wanted by any other EFL club within a transfer embargo.
Oh for the club to be ran as a hobby again.
