Most managers spout the same old rubbish cliches after a while because there are only a certain amount of things you can say to make the same point. Difference is that with a winning manager you add up all the cliches and turn them into something to laugh about, wheras with a manager struggling because of poor players and regular defeats as a result of that, you add them all up and use them as a stick to beat him with. Hill is a good manager struggling with poor players and injuries to boot, if some of you want to beat him over the head with his cliched phrases then that’s your choice but I believe it’s unnecessary.
