As a supposed expert in marketing, your continued failure to accept that ALL the issues raised in this thread and over the past 5 years ARE relevant to the demise of this club is unbelievable.
The failure to maximise every income stream, to treat the supporters with respect are contributory factors. I also believe they are important to the retention and recruitment of players.
It is no surprise that the clubs who work the hardest on all the other stuff to create a great atmosphere around the place tend to perform better on the pitch.
Why do you think a manager like Klopp puts so much effort into getting the fans behind the team if the job is only about buying, picking players and deciding what formation to play?
