There’s a middle ground where I believe people can still support the club and yet still be in opposition to the hierarchy.
I would like to believe that but I’m not sure how you can show your dissatisfaction with the ownership whilst still turning up to games and handing over your hard-earned? Because money is what really counts.
I must admit, it’s very strange to see how apathetic supporters are at home games – virtually no protests, just a resigned acceptance.
Scunthorpe fans often do themselves a disservice with the lack of organisation; even the very mild ‘protest’ at the forest green game when the gates were locked drew enough media attention to force Swann into holding face-face meetings with shareholders/ season ticket holders.
