Ultimately, it’s men against boys. If Jarvis would have bagged that chance then we may have salvaged a point, however it wouldn’t have been deserved and we were outplayed throughout.
We are asking a young lad who’s never played league football before and a bloke who’s scored 14 in 41 for Basingstoke to score enough goals to keep us up. It’s incompetent at best.
17 games left to go and I’m convinced the end of 72 years of league football is nigh. For those who are staying away, I’d advise popping down once or twice before the end of the season.
