We were poor in the final against an Italy side, who are no better than England in personnel and we were lucky to escape with the chance in penalties. The one difference for the game was Mancini and if Southgate was a little more creative and proactive we may have had the chance to win it without relying on penalties.
Southgate is a great man manager and likable, but questionable strategically.
