Cox had many faults but perhaps the biggest fault of all was not one player is any better than they were when they arrived at the club.
O’Malley and Watson have improved but I think that was despite Cox rather than because of him
Not sure you can have it both ways – either players improved under Cox or they didn’t?
I’m glad that Hippolyte is getting a bit of praise on here, I think he’s done quite well this season in central midfield, particularly running beyond the strikers. He won that penalty at Mansfield, should have won another v. Donny in the cup, set up Scrimshaw beautifully for that goal against Crawley and is scoring penalties. He may not be brilliant but it’s not a bad return given the rest of the team.
