Hopefully he can still dovetail with Scrimshaw but I’m not yet convinced they’ll be the perfect partnership some hope for.
Nobody has even said on this forum that they’d be the perfect partnership. All posters have said “including myself” is that they’re our best bet, which is a far cry from being “perfect”
Loft has his limitations but as long as the service is good enough he’ll be alright and Scrimshaw is busy enough and showed in the opening game with the over head kick that’s he’s a capable finisher.
The midfield balance is completely out though. I’d much rather play with wingers personally with Hippolyte and Bunn out wide and have Beestin partnering pugh/Wood in the middle.
We may as well go more positive as we’re getting well beat anyway with the negative approach.
