Neil tried something new in formation which failed – he was maybe a bit slow to react to them cutting us to shreds in CM but when he did make his change of style – it was spot on.

No idea what the system was but it worked better when Beestin came on and we had 3 in cm.
If Loft had stayed on and Beestin started instead of Green who was an absolute waste of space we might’ve looked almost competent.
It was pretty much 550 a lot of the time.
Good shift from the 3 CB’s and Pugh and Thompson did well enough without really looking comfortable as wing backs.
Perry and Beestin looked decent.
Bunn I’m not sure about yet.
The plan was clearly everyone except Loft behind the ball and flood the box with the big lads for long throws/corners but after loft went off there didn’t seem to be a plan B.
