The criticism of Watson is bizarre based on what I saw – for their third goal, I thought he made a very good save in what Misteron Mick tells me is his weakness. It was a powerful shot and he is entitled to expect one of his defenders to react.
The Swindon equaliser also stemmed from Loft’s complete inability to hold up the ball, a 10-yard first touch that immediately put us under pressure. Loft has plenty to offer but he cannot be expected to act as a target man.
On the upside, Loft’s penalty is one of the best struck Scunny penalties I’ve seen in a long, long time.
