Awful tonight. Anything other than 4/4/2 doesn’t really work.
We need another striker which is plain to see.
I hope Cox was simply trying a few different things out tonight and won’t continue fielding the same system we played last season.
4/4/2 we look a much, much better side. Always been the same at Scunny, when said manager takes away the width we look terrible.
I hope to god Cox doesn’t revert back to it.
I’m fairly sure one of the loan signings Cox is looking at is a striker, so fingers crossed he’s half decent.
We have target men but no quick striker who plays on the shoulder of the last man, we’re desperately missing that type of player.
Part of this problem we have upfront is down to Swannster, we still have fecking Turan and Jarvis on the books.
GK despite reading good comments looked a bit shaky. I hope he improves.
Cox said we’re after 2 more loans. Get another striker in and another wide player and we’d be much better.
No excuse now though for Cox to field that system into next season. Perry can ping the ball around and has a really good range of passing to knit play together, I like Green, Bunn and Young Wilson looks a fine prospect out wide so we have enough about us to play 4/4/2.
Pretty good at the back as well when everybody is fit. GK position worries me a bit but fingers crossed he picks up.
By the way Davis banged his head and felt a bit groggy so should be fine in a few days time but Millen apparently felt his hamstring after being pushed into a hoarding/fence in the first minute and then went down 5th minute unable to continue so it appears he’s crocked right from the off.
