I think the chairman might have learned a lesson re sacking managers every few months as it hasn’t worked for him. He would have had every justification had he sacked Cox last season but he chose not to. A possible indication that he is to be given time in the job maybe, but he’s going to have to better last season by some way to be certain of staying. He couldn’t build anything with the box of assorted Lego he was presented with, this time it seems he’s been allowed to pick his own bricks, hopefully they fit together into something closely resembling a football team.
