Yep a poor England shoot out, Pickford was brilliant and deserved better from his team mates taking pens. Felt sorry for Saka and Sancho who were let down by senior players not taking pens in front of them, as for Rashford it was a poor pen from someone like him. Italy were the best team on the night and deserved their win so 👏👏👏 to them. This England team will get better and better, World Cup semi finalists and Euro finalists in three years is a good template for the future and Southgate is a good manager, he’s got England playing as a team not a bunch of individuals like in the Beckham/ Gerrard/ Lampard era.
