What I mean by active is somebody who’s still involved in football, not somebody dragged from a care home who hasn’t even been involved in football for about 7 or 8 years.
His age has absolutley nothing to do with his ability as a coach, As the likes of Roy Hodgson, Harry Redknapp & Carlo Ancelotti to name but 3 have proved. As for having nothing to do with football for 7 years, he has been caretaker manager of Huddersfield Town on 3 occasions and coached in India in that time.
