Then stop calling me a liar, Pat, for simply offering an opinion! But, surprise, surprise, you just can’t stop yourself, can you.
You seem to think it’s fine to hurl false accusations in my direction but when I refer to pies, which btw was a generic reference to anything and everything to do with catering, which as I recall turned into ‘piegate’, you go mad. Of course the usual suspects back you up, but no surprises there.
As for your points about catering and merchandising I think you’ll find that I agreed the club needed to improve. My point was and remains, however, that the moaning and groaning about these things was way over the top.
As for growing a pair of conkers, I wish you would. All of this just because I didn’t — and still don’t — agree that this was the major issue you claim. I’m very happy to criticise Swann but right now I think there are far bigger things to criticise him about than catering and merchandise. Talk about petulance. I’m sure you’ll find some conkers in the playground if you look hard enough.
By all means have your opinion, you’re entitled to it, but don’t make out others have said things they have not while your doing it.
The only reason piegate as you call it raised it’s head was because YOU and nobody else made reference to them whenever anyone dared to critisise Mr Swann who you wouldn’t have a bad word said against.
I disagree that right now there are far bigger things than catering & merchandise to worry about, while fans have been away it was the perfect opportunity for the owners of the club to look at these VITAL revenue streams and get it right for when fans can come back to the stadium.
You did not agree that the club needed to improve, in fact in one post after you had attended a rare evening game you accused myself and others of making things up and that there were no issues with catering!
Mr Swann made promises when he took the club over and not one of them has come to fruition, the stadium is in a worse state, the fans have never felt so disengaged from the club, the matchday experience is best described as dull (and thats being kind), the hospitality is an absolute circus (corporate and regular), open weekends which were a real link between the club and the fans have been stopped, the one feeble attempt we did make at one was farcical and akin to the family fun day on Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, the replica kits are cheap and tacky and not available to buy when the season kicks off, we sell tickets for the family stand and fail to tell the people purchasing them that the bar in that stand has been closed for good before they enter the stadium, the youth system produces nothing anymore, loan signings that don’t give a toss, inept Manager after inept Manager playing the same boring negative football. So there you have it Bucks, need I go on??? because there is plenty more where that came from, my issues with the running of this football club go far deeper than bloody pies!!!!!
