I think the interview did not show the club, the players, or the management staff in a good light.
That sort of stuff should be done behind closed doors and NOT behind a reporters microphone. To me, it shows Cox’s inexperience as a manager, runs the risk of alienating certain players, and does nothing to bring them inline.
Sure it might be a great soundbite for the fans, but it just makes his overall job as manager of Scunthorpe United that much more challenging.
