Thing is that Swann has tried everything else.
Nick Daws, did alright in a handful of games as caretaker so give him a go. Internal appointment, worked with Adkins.
Stuart McCall, success with Bradford in his first stint there. Experience in SPL. Former International.
Paul Hurst, did very well at Shrewsbury on a limited budget. Sounded ideal at the time.
Last summer posters were saying – forget the has-beens on the managerial merry-go-round, go get an up and coming young manager from the National League. Evatt, Flowers or similar. Get someone who bleeds SUFC when you cut them. Get some passion back.
Lillis did an in conversation podcast which was effectively both his application letter and interview rolled into one!
Swann tried something different but it hasn’t worked.
