Agree there’s not a fag paper between them.
Howard has the experience, Watson the agility. Both have issues commanding the box. Both have made match-winning saves this season.
Not often I agree with BS, but you have to look at the goalkeeping coaching. Too many of our recent keepers have had the same problems.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Howard without a club when we signed him?
If so, that was for a reason. Gilks kept a clean sheet against us the other week. He hasn’t spent time twiddling his thumbs.
Also been mightily impressed with Sam Johnstone for WBA. He didn’t learn that at GP!
