I was happy with the performance againstead Colchester. We took the game to them and were positive certainly until the last 20 minutes or so whe we ran out of steam and ideas.
Not happy with the Southend performance and wouldn’t have been happy even if we had scrambled a result. We were tentative throughout and didn’t put up mmuch of a fight.
The quality might be lacking but in League 2 you win very few games when the team is passive and doesn’t work at least as hard as the opposition.
For quite a few games running up to Saturday we had a go and worked hard for each other. On Saturday we did not.
If we dont tonight we will get beaten again. If we do we will get a result.
