I think it’s more likely that players are motivated more by a sense of solidarity with fellow players and a need to tackle racism than to bring around some socialist revolution, as is often levelled at the BLM movement, but maybe they’re one cog in this apparent scheme to bring in the totalitarian state alongside enforced mask wearing (which somehow stops us from being a threat to the state for some reason).
