Some of you still don’t see it.
We all see it thank you.
What you are trying to say is 6/100 SOUNDS better than 600/100,000. They are of course both the same and not every Ward in the country has a population of 100,000. Our Ward is around 4,000, so I know I have to divide the number quoted by 25. However I can get the actual figure by going on the County Council website. Our Ward has zero cases as of today, yet the per 100k number is 23!
You intimate that 6/100 is okay but I beg to differ. If the R number is, let’s say, 1.5 then those 6 could infect another 9. Those nine another 14, then….
Well I’ll leave you to work it out!
The argument (which shouldn’t of course be an argument) over vaccination has sweet FA to do with party politics. All parties left, right and centre support the development of a vaccine for COVID. So any diatribe about Nazis and Communists belongs with nutters like David Icke and Piers Corbyn.
If you’ve a laptop you could while away the long winter evenings doing some genealogy. See if you can find out if any of your eighteenth or nineteenth century ancestors died of smallpox. Then ask yourself why no one dies from it now.
Oh, and BTW, you won’t be forced to get a jab. So don’t worry about turning green and growing a pair of breasts!
