Disagree. Salford owners probably saw the rot setting in and got rid. By the sounds of it, Alexander’s negativity has got him the sack again, he did the same here.
Did really well but the wheels were clearly falling off and he got ultra negative which in turn made us even worse. Alexander got booted out of Fleetword for the same…started off well and then the wheels fell off towards the end and was fired.
Maybe that’s just him…get’s so far but is unable to get make that final step as manager to get a team promoted. I still don’t forget how negatively he set us up at the play off match at home, once he made subs and put the more positive players on we absolutely battered them last 20 minutes.
I firmly believe if he showed more bravery we would have gave them a good hiding.
