No doubt the club will support him as best they can. However, we’ve seen plenty of cases like this before, where wayward young players in need of support just don’t get it from managers who are themselves under pressure, and who don’t have time to get alongside and effectively ‘social work’ footballers, because there’s a ton of other things they have to do and they could themselves be unemployed within a month. And, how many managers has he had while he’s been here?
