Scunthorpe United boss Nick Daws has told BBC Radio Humberside that the club are resigned to losing defender Murray Wallace this week.

An unnamed Championship club have triggered a release clause in Wallace’s contract, which was activated following the Iron’s failure in the League One play offs.

Wallace, who has one year left on his deal at Glanford Park, has attracted interest from a host of Championship clubs but it is widely expected that he will join Millwall in the next couple of days.
