Van Veen says China move ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity

Iron striker Kevin Van Veen has told Fox Sports he is pushing for an outrageous multi million move to Chinese side Henan Jianye FC.

An initial bid of four million pounds was rejected by the Iron, who are believed to be holding out for a fee nearer to £8million, however the Dutchman is said to be hoping an agreement reached between the clubs.

Van Veen told Fox Sports Netherlands: “It is true, this is really unbelievable.

“If that happens, then I’m all for it. It would be very stupid not to do it.

“I can earn so much, then I never have to work again. Truly once in a lifetime.

“”Really incredible”.
