Stevenage sign Harrison on loan deal

Stevenage have completed the signing of Chesterfield player Byron Harrison, Sky Sports can confirm.

The striker, now 28, has joined on an initial months loan deal after falling out of favor with the Spireites.

Harrison has played for Stevenage before, helping them to promotion to League Two in 2011 and scoring 10 goals in the process. He has since had spells with AFC Wimbledon and Cheltenham Town, before moving to Chesterfield in 2015.

He is all set to make his second debut for the club when they take on Cambridge at the weekend, and he will be hoping he can help score enough goals to help pull Stevenage clear of any potential relegation battle.

The currently sit 19th in the League Two table, 11 points clear of the bottom 2, but things can change quickly in football as we all know.
