Stadium decision next week

A decision will be made on the planning application for Scunthorpe United’s proposed 12,000 capacity stadium next week.

The North Lincolnshire Council Planning Committee will meet on Wednesday 29th April at the Civic Centre on Ashby Road.

Iron Chairman Peter Swann told the Scunthorpe Telegraph earlier this month: ” We’re working very hard with the council still, there’s a lot of work behind the scenes and it’s looking very positive, but we still have to make sure we do everything correctly.

“Hopefully we’ll have some great news.”
