Rowe expected to extend stay

On loan Wolves midfielder Tommy Rowe is set to prolong his loan spell with the Iron.

Rowe, out of favour at Molineux, has impressed during a three-game stint which has seen Mark Robins’ side win three games on the bounce.

The 27-year-old, who moved to Wolves on a free transfer from Peterborough last summer, is out of contract in 2016 and has struggled to make an impact at Molineux in an injury-hit 14 months.

Rowe’s initial one-month Scunthorpe deal expires on October 31 and boss Kenny Jackett said: “Scunthorpe want to extend with Tommy Rowe, which we will do, I’m sure.”
