Port Vale offer ticket and shirt incentive

Port Vale have become the latest club to act in the recent ongoing ticket row, but acknowledging young fans and introducing a new season ticket scheme for next season, the Sentinel reports.

Vale are introducing a new initiative where they will offer all fans between the age of 9 and 17, a free home shirt when they commit to a season ticket with the club.

The scheme also introduces another incentive for families, where for every adult or senior season ticket purchased, an unlimited number of children in the family between the ages of 9 and 13 can purchase a season ticket for between £60 and £65.

Junior season tickets currently start at £135 at Vale Park, and the news will be a breath of fresh air across the footballing community after the continued debate around ticket prices, and the recent walk out at Anfield by Liverpool fans.

The club are also offering partial refunds to anyone between 9 and 13 who has already purchased a season ticket for next season, offering them a refund of the ticket, and resale at the new price.

Port Vale fans, what do you think to this? A good initiative? Let us know!!
