Perch ban upheld

Scunthorpe United will be without midfielder James Perch for three games after the club lost an appeal to have his red card overturned.

Perch was dismissed just 21 minutes into the Iron’s 3-2 defeat by card happy referee Charles Breakspear.

The 33 year old midfielder had only just returned to action having served a three match ban for picking up 15 yellow cards last season.
