Parkinson to swap Bradford for Bolton

Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson is understood to be set for a shock Valley Parade exit and will be announced as the new manager of Bolton Wanderers tomorrow.

The Lancashire club have called a press conference on Friday to unveil their new boss and the Telegraph & Argus understand that will be Parkinson.

It is understood a financial package has been agreed between the two clubs, despite Bradford denying an approach had been made for their manager earlier in the week.

His departure will bring an end to the third longest managerial spell in Bradford’s history and quashes rumours that ex Iron boss Nigel Adkins was closing in on the vacancy at the Macron Stadium.
