Ojo set to potentially miss up to three weeks for Scunthorpe

Iron manager Stuart McCall revealed on Saturday that Funso Ojo is set to be out for a few weeks with a hamstring strain.

The Belgian midfielder limped off during Scunthorpe’s 1-0 defeat at Blackpool last week, and scans have now determined that he will be out for two-to-three weeks, according to McCall.

Following the 4-1 hammering against Plymouth, the United boss gave an update on the injury Stephen Humphrys picked up during the game and also talked about how Matt Lund is progressing with his fitness.

“Lundy’s doing a bit of running but with an ankle injury it’s different because you can run all day, but it’s when you come in for the challenge,” McCall told the club’s website.

He added: “I don’t know how long Stephen will be with his hamstring because I don’t know if it’s a little pull or just a tightening. He said he slipped and felt something, so we’ll have to look at that at the start of next week.”
