Iron midfielder Funso Ojo has asked the Scunthorpe United supporters to make Glanford Park a hostile environment for visiting clubs ahead of the final three home games of the season.

Scunthorpe welcome Walsall this weekend, before closing the regular season with games against fellow play off contenders Plymouth and struggling Bradford City in the final week.

And Ojo has told the fans that they can make the difference as the battle for the play off spots in League One hots up.

“I hope that our fans can give the opposition a hostile environment that’s similar to the ones that we have experienced”, Ojo told the club’s official site.

“I would really like our fans to do the same because that would help us on the pitch and help us to get that win.”

Fans favourite Ojo also said he was delighted with Saturday’s 1-0 win over Charlton, which moved Scunthorpe back into the play off spots with four games to play.

“We are back where we want to be, which has given us a massive boost.

“We just need to keep this feeling, play like we did on Saturday, stick together under pressure and when we have the ball, just play as we play. If we can stay together as a team then we will win.”
