Nwoko deal off as clubs fail to agree fee

Scunthorpe United have ruled out signing Maltese international Kyrian Nwoko in this transfer window.

The Iron were unable to agree a fee with Valletta for his services in time to complete a deal this January.

Iron boss Stuart McCall told BBC Radio Humberside that a potential move is “not dead in the water” and the club will re-evaluate the situation in the summer transfer window.

Nwoko scored in the 5-0 friendly win against a Select X1 on Tuesday.
