No Iron deal for Hammill

Iron Bru understand that the club will not be offering a contract to trialist Adam Hammill at this stage.

The former Barnsley man spent last week training with the Iron in a bid to win a contract with the club, but manager Nick Daws has decided against offering the 30 year old a deal with question marks over the players fitness.

Hammill was released by Saturday’s opponents Barnsley following their relegation to League One this summer.
