New sponsorship deal for Iron

MAN Truck and Bus UK and HRVS Group have signed a two-year sponsorship deal to become the new back of shirt sponsor.

The deal will see the “HRVS MAN” logo appear on the rear of the first team home and away playing shirts.

Simon Elliott, ex Iron director and managing director of MAN Truck & Bus UK, says the deal is one which makes excellent business sense for the brand.

He told the club’s official website: “Football offers a high-profile opportunity for businesses, never more so than in today’s social media age.

“For MAN, this is a strong partnership and we’re delighted to be associated with Prostate Cancer UK, a cause being backed by Scunthorpe United who have donated the front of the shirts in support. We’re a male-dominated industry and as a business, health and well-being is extremely important for us.

“MAN is being supported in the sponsorship by our local dealer HRVS Scunthorpe based in Broughton. This association will help us to achieve maximum brand activation both locally and nationally.”

Iron Chairman Peter Swann added: “We are delighted to welcome HRVS Group as a brand new main sponsor of the football club.

“Simon Elliott has been extremely supportive of Scunthorpe United over the years so we are grateful for his continued support”.
