Grimsby Town have announced the signing of former Iron midfielder Sean McAllister on a two-year deal.

McAllister left the club at the end of the season following a three year spell at Glanford Park.

The 28-year-old becomes the fifth new arrival this summer following the club’s promotion to the Football League, joining fellow ex Iron Andrew Boyce.

With just over a month to go until McAllister dons Grimsby’s black and white stripes, it would be wise to view some football accumulator tips ahead of their opening day clash with Morecambe on August 6th.

Bolton-born McAllister made over 70 appearances for Scunthorpe.
