Charlton were also an inform team at the time and are now sitting near the top of the table, so this was a fantastic result for Scunthorpe. This was a very action packed game with 33 shots in total and five goals in the first half. This eight goal thriller was a fantastic game for the fans at Glanford Park.
2-0 victory v Peterborough United
Tuesday 1st January
The 2-0 victory over Peterborough United on new year’s day was another very impressive victory of the side. This is due to the fact that Peterborough were sitting near the top of the table at the time, and Scunthorpe in the relegation spots. This was a timely victory for the side in their survival bid, and stopped a period of very poor form for the side. The game included a brace for Novak, which has saw him move to double figures for the campaign.

Saturday 9th February
Another very important victory in the picture of the season as Scunthorpe maintained their impressive recent form. This was a 2-0 success over Accrington Stanley, and one that saw both sides drawing level on points. The game was won in the first half as Scunthorpe were 2-0 up before the break. They then held on well in the second half for an impressive victory.
