Kevin Austin joins academy set up

The Iron have appointed former Swansea City and Lincoln City defender Kevin Austin as Youth Development Phase Lead Coach.

The former Trinidad and Tobago international, nicknamed ‘the Doorman’ during his playing days, joins the club following the departure of Tony Mee who left in the summer.

Austin will be responsible for overseeing the U12-16 coaching programme on a weekly basis and academy games on Sundays.
