Iron sign Townsend from Hull

The Iron have made Hull City full-back Conor Townsend their second signing of the January window.

Townsend, who recently impressed on loan at Grimsby Town, joins on a free transfer after signing a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The 22 year old spent a brief spell on loan with the Iron last season, making six appearances.
