Iron to offer Daniels way out of WBA

image1 understand Scunthorpe are close to agreeing a deal that will see West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Luke Daniels join the club on a permanent basis.

Daniels (27) has been at the Hawthorns for over ten years but has seen his chances limited in that time and the former Manchester United youngster is now surplus to requirements.

He has also enjoyed loan spells at Shrewsbury, Tranmere, Rochdale, Bristol Rovers and Southend.

United are also closing in on a second goalkeeper, understood to be a free agent, according to BBC Radio Humberside.
