We are pleased to announce we will be launching a virtual sportsbook game to run alongside our 2016/17 Prediction League.

Every Iron matchday, you will be able to bet on the outcome of games with virtual money at real time odds. The sportsbook uses an API used by leading bookmakers so the market will fluctuate, just as it would if you were betting for real. We will offer a couple of markets per game, which may include match result, correct score, half time/full time result and first goalscorer.

Each member will receive £20 in virtual money, with those signed up for the Prediction League receiving an extra £50 in bets. Once logged in, users can purchase a maximum of £50 worth of extra bets (£1 for every £10 of bets purchased via paypal).

Any extra funds raised will go to the running of the site, whilst there will be a cash prize for the member with the most money in their account after the last game of the regular season. Users must make at least 20 bets (minimum 1 token) during the course of the season to win the prize.

The sportsbook will open for the first game of the season against Bristol Rovers on August 6th. The deadline for buying extra tokens is April 1st 2017.

Please note you do need to be signed up to the site to play.

Prediction League Entry

The Prediction League will also launch on August 6th. Entries cost £10, with £5 going to the prize fund and £5 to the site fund. Last year £140 was shared between the first three users on the leaderboard.

You can sign up for the Prediction League by clicking the button below. Sign up will get you £50 of bets in the virtual sportsbook game.
