Hopper set for long absence

Iron striker Tom Hopper has undergone surgery to repair a dislocated shoulder and will be out of action for a minimum of four months.

“Tom had surgery to correct the damage on his shoulder on Wednesday,” Robins told the club’s official website.

“He’d been playing really well over the last month and the goal at the weekend gave him a real boost. I’m sure he’d have gone on and scored even more.

“We wish Tom a speedy recovery.”
