Four Iron fans arrested last season

New Home Office figures show that there were just four Scunthorpe United supporters arrested during the 2015/16 season.

The arrests were made for two incidents of public disorder, one for violent disorder and one for criminal damage. Two of the arrests were made at home fixtures.

The Iron still have 23 fans currently serving banning orders, which was the sixth highest number in League One last term.

Only Millwall (57),  Sheffield United (39), Barnsley (26), Coventry (25) and Walsall (25) had more fans banned from attending matches.

Overall there were 1,895 football related arrests across England and Wales last season, which was a slight increase on the 1,873 from the previous campaign.
