Thing is Swannster has said we’ll have to get by with this embargo. In my opinion he’s pretty much washed his hands of us, he may as well let somebody else in as chairman next season.

If Swann had any ambition left as chairman he would have cleared the embargo.

As a club we deserve better than what he’s offering up. I’d rather he admitted he’s done everything he can at the club, works hard to get interest “if there is any out there” and moves on.

Swann can give the ground back as well while he’s at it !

Need a few strikers and a more creative CM. We may just have a chance then. Beestin would probably come in for Hackney because I can’t see Hill dropping Pugh.

Pugh’s not the greatest player in the world but covers a lot of ground and get’s the tackles in and Hippo’s been in such good form.

I don’t like Davis at the back. I can’t wait for Onariase to come back in. I may be being a bit harsh as he’s been out for 5/6 weeks but I just don’t rate him at all.

A CDC report saying they are moving to multiplexed tests, with no specification of it being because of accuracy concerns

    Read the link provided.

CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.

If PCR testing was so accurate and differentiated between covid and strains of flu, why would the CDC even suggest a change in how they test going forward ?

This new more comprehensive method of testing they are proposing wouldn’t be more accurate than PCR tests would they by any chance ?

Shame really because the Loft we know who turns up would tear this league to bits, only problem is it’s always on his terms and then you get too much inconsistent crap in between.

He’s a CB with height, they always have a good chance of scoring if the delivery is half decent.

Slack marking always helps from the opposing team too !

The source speaks of the same thing, idiot.

    Is Dr Broadhurst right?

Are the CDC all incompetent charlatans ?

CDC carry more weight than DR Broadhurst out of pokey Nebraska. Whatever they say usually goes.

A full team of scientists and doctors who have contributed to CDC coming to this conclusion are somehow incorrect.

You do realise what your proposing is nonsensical ?

you speak as if what you are saying has unquestionable merit.

You’re explaining yourself there in that one comment.

My source is more reliable and up to date and carries a lot more credence than your source where a Dr .Broadhurst say’s they’re brilliantly accurate.

CDC out ranks this nebraska crap anyway. It’s already been mandated that they’re to be withdrew.

Is Dr Broadhurst right and are the CDC all incompetent charlatans ?. No they’re not.

They’re also scrapping it in Queensland Australia now for oversees visitors. Not supposed to be very reliable.

I suppose it’s like anything else, it depends who/what you choose believe.

Do you believe in lab testing which has determined that they flag false readings with not being able to tell the difference between flu and covid or the fact they’re iron clad and work like a dream ?

    Calvin Andrew

Can’t see it. 35yrs old and only played 11 games in the whole of 2021. I know Hill used to love him but I think he’s expired now.

Bill shut up. Nobody is calling for the world to fight against the establishment and all party and breath on each other for a laugh and a joke.

All I’m saying is, that it’s a proven fact that PCR tests aren’t accurate.

I don’t know. PCR tests are clearly not accurate.

The football players keep getting PCR tested and if the PCR test can’t really differentiate between strains of Flu and Covid, expect to see many more players out.

    All a bit farcical.

Alan Nixon reporting it and he’s always spot on. Small-ish goal scorer, extracted the urine in premier league 2. Unknown quantity but what did we expect ?

It does make you wonder if a lot of people with just a cold are testing positive for covid

    Would seem that way.

    Here’s a link

    https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dls/locs/2021/07-21-2021-lab-alert-Changes_CDC_RT-PCR_SARS-CoV-2_Testing_1.html

PCR cannot tell the difference between flu and Covid.

How many false flags have these fecking things detected ?

£50k looks like a massive overvaluation after this game, hope we’ve already signed the contract of sale. A complete p*** take by Loft today.

I did hope the other 45 minutes against Oldham he turned a corner but looks like it was a flash in the pan and wouldn’t surprise me if one of these teams after him at representatives there so he turned in that performance.

Today he was shit again, no effort or conviction at all. Very poor. If Loft want’s to move back down south the let him.

Get a few strikers on loan for the money saved on his wages and the 50k transfer money.

I was really hoping he’s start to turn it around but no, back to same old shite again.

I await the comments of the anti-vaxxers with interest.

I’m not in the anti-vaxxer camp but I saw the other day that 80-85% of footballers who catch covid are jabbed but catch it anyway.

Getting jabbed doesn’t stop you from catching it at all. Gibraltar not long back had a 100% of their population fully vaccinated and still had to endure a lockdown.

Also a city in America “think Florida” not sure so don’t quote me on that, have had to scrap PCR testing due to the fact they can’t differentiate between covid19 and the common flu.

    All a bit of a mess !

Loft sadly went back to the old Loft we’ve been accustomed to seeing. One of the players we’ve signed on loan is an u23 striker from a championship club according to Hill.

I think the other deal we’ve done is extending Hackney’s loan.

Desperately need at least 2 new strikers and a more creative CM player. Davis stepped in today for Onariase who’s got covid and was shit again.

Green looked really dangerous at RB, he has more belief now in that he’s using his pace and ability to go past players. Carlisle were complete dog shit but we know that this team’s work in the final 3rd is usually shit, we haven’t got enough to break teams down.

People are slagging off Millen but I think he’s improved under Hill. O’neil is terrible as is Turan.

Shame about Hallam as he has real ability but is just never fit for any amount of time. If Hill can somehow perform a miracle and get him match fit, he’ll add a lot more creativity.

Cox’s lax training regime may have been a cause as to why Hallam could never stay fit.

    Chickenfeed isn’t it?

    Bravo.

Is it too late for a spelling correction ?

    Paltry…..

    Where’s my medal ?

On a more serious note, 50k if true is crap, we may as well keep him. Loft is wildly inconsistent but I doubt we could sign somebody on a free or on loan who’s as good.

Pretty sure with the embargo looming over us we can’t pay transfer fee’s out for players.

Can’t see Hill taking any notice whatsoever of our cygnet scout, if players are forced on him I expect he would just walk away.

Before Hill even accepted this role, he met Swann and stated what he had to have “meaning near complete control”. I remember listening to an interview from Hill soon after he signed, saying just that.

Hill wouldn’t have come in the first place if all this wasn’t ironed out from the start. One thing he isn’t is somebody who can be ignored or made a fool of.

Hill will know the players we want and will have ear marked some already. I remember him saying after he was sacked at Bolton he was still out and about looking at players ready for getting another job elsewhere.

Hill stated he had made many contacts in the game through his time managing. Trust me, he’ll know lower league players.

Do you really think he’ll allow us to sign another Turan/Jarvis ?.

Not a cat in hells chance !

I think Scrimshaw is season long loan. Hackney will need extending. Selling Loft to Colchester would be suicidal as they’re close to us.

What if he goes there and the real Loft we know he can be re appears on a regular basis and fires in the goals for them ?

That could quite easily result in us being relegated come the end of the season.

I hope it’s not true with where Colchester are in the table. Surely a lg 1 team would take a punt on him for that poultry amount ?

Send Wood back. Hallam is fit so maybe a non league club will take him on loan. I’d personally keep Hackney but with his loan coming to an end, not so sure.

Bilson is here till the end of the season and I wouldn’t cut it short as apart from Watson, we have no good back up.

1 CB and 1 RB on loan as were still a bit lacking at the back and Davis is held together with duct tape. Rowe looks better in DCM than he did at RB and CB.

Perry has too much ability to let go. Perry is as weak as urine but if he strengthens like KVV did in the gym, bulks out and get’s Hill type match fit…you won’t find a better passer in the whole league I wouldn’t think.

Providing we can loan out Hallam and send Wood back, I’d loan a more attacking/creative CM player.

Loan O’Neil, Turan, Jessop to non league and get 2 strikers in to go with Bunn, Scrimshaw and Loft. I think we’ll be alright then.

Jarvis I don’t personally rate but he’ll be needed if Bunn picks up another injury. I’d maybe keep him around in the background.

but needs the confidence to do it more often and with a better end product.

I agree. At RB it might free him up to use his pace more often as the pressure won’t be on him to be one of the main creators.

Hill must have seen something in him to play there. That came completely out of the blue seeing him at RB.

I prefer Rowe in DCM to Pugh and Kenyon too. I think he’s bedded in well there. Pacey, mobile and with him being a RB who’s decent defensively, he has enough positional sense to break attacks up.

To think back Cox wanted him to solely be a CB and had Pugh as a perm RB. Utter madness.

Mr Swann, please get that loan paid off, and support Keith in the January window

Not going to happen, he’s already said Hill will have to work with the embargo. Hill will have to get 3, 4 or 5 out and get the same number in.

Swann said it doesn’t matter as the wage budget is the same. Only problem is it limits you with the amount of players you’re allowed in your squad.

I don’t think you’re allowed to pay fee’s for players either.

With no changes at all in January – Mr Hill has enough material to take us away from danger.
I rate that bloke off the scale!

I also rate him but I’d like to think I’m also realistic. If that 45 minutes for Loft was a flash in the pan or he picks up an injury we’re in the shite again. I wouldn’t chance our arm on the firepower we have to survive.

Apart from Bunn who’s more a link player up there, we haven’t got a great deal. Scrimshaw is a capable finisher at times but more often than not he’s never in the right area in or around the box to sniff chances out.

Realistically we need 2 new strikers to go with Scrimshaw, Loft and Bunn.

Attempt to get Jarvis out on loan with O’Neil, Turan and Jessop. A creative CM and maybe another CB and we might be ok. I don’t think we’ll survive without strengthening.

You can’t have only 1 capable striker who’s a potential goal getter who’s inconsistent himself to fire you to safety, we need help in Jan.

Regarding Cox, myself, Barton and one or two others said he should have been dumped months before…he was completely clueless. If Cox ever gets another managers job in my lifetime, I’ll be more than a bit surprised.

Being a manager not even capable of getting your team match fit that far into the season isn’t just negligent, it’s a clear sign you shouldn’t be anywhere near a managers job.

I’m surprised Ardley even kept him around as assistant manager at Notts County. Most shocking thing is the fact he knows football as well as a seasoned pro. Unbelievable really when you think about it.

Bunn against Oldham is exactly what we’ve been missing. Looked a cut above this level, if he can stay fit, he could quite easily be that clever, creative link up man we’ve been looking for.

If we can get O’neil, Turan , Jessop and Jarvis out on loan and get 2 new strikers in to compete with Bunn, Loft and Scrimshaw we’ll be a lot better for it.

Another surprise was Green at RB. If somebody was to tell me Green would play RB and play as well as he did, I thought you were insane.

Tell you what though, he definitely offers a threat down that side. It can’t be good for Millen though, he could have played but went for Green ahead of him.

Rowe’s looking good as well in that defensive midfield role. Hill’s playing people out of position but they all seem to pay off.

, but you must admit that in most matches Jarvis has been the better player between the pair of them

I’m not disputing the fact Jarvis has been better, I’m talking about actual ability. Loft is miles ahead. I was stating this face countless times and was being ridiculed.

Jarvis is a hard worker and scored an Alan Shearer type header but he’s pretty crap.

If Bunn stays fit and we play more front foot football, Loft may actually come good after all. Bit raw but no doubting that he has the ability there.

these players will surely be feeling it badly, and really hard hit if this is the case, and it looks like it is!!!

I think completely differently. The players don’t look laboured at all due to being over trained. In my opinion they look hell of a lot more stronger, fitter and more able bodied now.

Hill’s training has knocked more stuffing into them than it’s taken out.

They look like a hardened league two team now.

    To Ryan Loft.

I was one of many who said we wanted shot of you. Sorry Geeze, keep playing like you did for 45 minutes today. 2 goals and 1 assist.

    UTBI

I have said many times on here that Loft is the better player between him and Jarvis and on ability would have been the one “providing he can be bothered” to get the goals.

Certain people on here “not mentioning any names” were coming out with “rather have Jarvis..Loft’s useless”

Do you still feel the same way after that 45minute display ?

I have said before that Loft has more ability in his left ball sack than Jarvis does in his whole body, if and this is a big if, he can actually be bothered from here on in, he’ll be the one to get the goals.

Bunn makes a difference as well as that more creative link upfront. If we get another couple of strikers, A creative midfielder and maybe another CB..we’ll be alright.
