‘Baffles me how supposed “grown men” behave at football and use it as an excuse to act like an idiot and full of bravado.

Will end up spoiling it for the majority, we will soon get reduced allocation pubs won’t allow away fans in, the away end will stop serving beer whenever we go away!’

Having attended a fair few non league grounds a tier or two below NLN, I think that’s a tall order for other clubs. The cost of extra security staff and temporary fencing would be a big financial hit for them.

There was some stuff on social media yesterday that this alludes to, be it true or false. My post above is a reply to another poster on here about potential developments, not some grand claim that there would be a huge announcement today. Why would cash be a problem when supporters have been frequently told it isn’t an issue? When we’ve been told it’s not the reason the stadium deal has not been completed? When supporters have banged on about having seen proof of funds and put down and ridiculed others who’ve been critical? I ask because something’s not adding up. Fair point, I believe.
